JOB ROLE: Graphic Designer
DEPARTMENT: Marketing
REPORTING TO: Head of Marketing
Core Purpose
Are you creative, adaptable to trends, and able to conceptualise original ideas? Then you might be the Graphic Designer we need to join our growing Marketing department. Our mission is to deliver the right content at the right time through the right channels using visual cues that invoke emotion and action. You will be responsible for establishing a creative direction for the company and its subsidiaries while supporting the Head of Marketing.
Your responsibilities as a Graphic Designer:
- Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral
- Ensure that artwork is corrected and supplied in the right format, sizes and colour codes before being sent to production
- Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
- Establish creative direction for the company as well as brand guidelines
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
- Perform retouching and manipulation of images
- Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
- Communicating with internal stakeholders about progress of projects and any issues that may arise
Preferred Skills & Qualifications as a Graphic Designer:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in graphic design
- Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, and other graphic design software
- Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent eye for detail
- Experience working on a B2B portfolio advantageous
